Our Story

Authentic taste meets local scene

Every great song starts with a single note — and for us, that note was struck in Cebu, Philippines, a city known as the cradle of music and creativity in the Visayas.

Six to Four began as a small passion project among a group of friends who loved two things deeply: the guitar’s soaring six strings and the bass’s steady four. We spent countless weekends jamming in tiny studios, borrowing gear, and helping each other learn. Over time, we realized something important: while Cebu was full of talent and passion, quality instruments and affordable gear weren’t always easy to find.

That’s when the idea was born — to build a place where guitarists and bassists alike could find reliable instruments, affordable accessories, and the inspiration to keep playing.

What started as a simple concept grew into Six to Four, an online store dedicated to musicians of all levels. From the beginner strumming their first acoustic guitar, to the bassist laying down grooves for their band, to the hobbyist experimenting with pedals at home — we want every musician to feel supported on their journey.

Our name reflects our vision:

  • Six for the six strings of the guitar, the heart of melody.

  • Four for the four strings of the bass, the soul of rhythm.

Together, they form the foundation of music — harmony and groove, passion and precision.

At Six to Four, we are committed to offering:

  • Quality instruments that inspire confidence.

  • Affordable accessories like tuners, pedals, capos, and straps.

  • Friendly service that welcomes both beginners and pros.

From Cebu to the rest of the Philippines, our goal is simple: to keep music alive by putting the right tools in the hands of those who want to play, create, and share their sound.

Because Six to Four isn’t just about selling gear — it’s about building a community where every note matters, every instrument tells a story, and every player finds their voice.

🎸 From six strings to four, from Cebu to your hands — this is Six to Four. 🎵
